Qualified Supervisor of Mental Health Counselor Interns

As a military veteran, I believe that it is a calling to serve. In that spirit of service, I have been privileged to work, learn, and experience the human condition in variety of diverse populations. I have come to understand that in everyone’s life journey, guidance, emotional support, and understanding can change lives. Therefore, I am committed and ready to enhance a better understanding and effective strategies needed to manage during life’s most difficult times.
I have long held the belief that decreasing the stigma of mental illness begins with improving lives and communities one session at a time. I have a combination of extensive did active background and training coupled with years of diverse experience working with individuals, groups, and families during times of emotional and psychological distress.

For over 20 years my work experience includes therapeutic intervention among diverse population. This includes adults, children, and adolescents. This experience has led me to work in the following settings:
  • Child and family agencies
  • Crisis intervention
  • Structured outpatient programs
  • Non-profits
  • Substance abuse
  • Correctional settings (adult and adolescent)
  • Military community
My belief in training has led me to actively participate in training post graduate mental health counselors. My purpose is to provide the best therapeutic intervention and extends to my role as a Qualified Supervisor for Post Graduate Mental Health Interns.
